Ek Balam is an amazingly beautiful archaeological complex, here you cand admire the Great Temple with 29 meters high and 55 wide and from the top you will be able to see a panoramic view of the rest of the structures and the thick jungle that surrounds them.

One of the highlights of this site are the human figures with fine finished stucco that form the jaws and teeth of a monster, a the king and his throne and on the sides the human figures of possible warriors all fitted with wings. You can also see the tomb of Ukit Lel Kan Tok the king of this ancient complex.
