The Mayan Senses Safari is a journey of discovery and surprises as you never experienced before. We begin this safari with a jungle exploration in mountain bikes and take a kayak tour in stunning lagoon. After this we celebrate Mayan traditions by visiting a Mayan embroidering house and see the traditional medicine products elaborated by the Mayan women.

Mayan hands will prepare a delicious meal for you to enjoy before you embark in an exciting tour of “Birds Island” a haven for countless marine birds. We wrap up the day in a natural water spring where you can refresh and absorb the fascinating encounters of the day.

A perfect way to explore the jungle
Adventure lovers will be thrilled to ride through a spectacular jungle in a mountain bike. Follow our experienced guides and discover unspoiled nature and its secrets. The this amazing 1.5 km long jungle path can also be covered walking.

Paddle around a crystalline lagoon
Explore a beautiful secluded lagoon on a kayak. Novice and professional paddlers will have heaps of fun kayaking around this lagoon and enjoying the serenity of nature. We end this aquatic adventure at the panoramic tower to admire an unparalleled view of the landscape.

Traditional Mayan medicine (Maya Dzak)
Learn about the legacy of ancient Mayan medicine still alive in this community. A small group of women have preserved ancient recipes and produce wonderful products such as syrups, ointments and soaps.

Visit a traditional Mayan embroidering house
Admire exquisite colorful embroideries created by the local Mayan women. Preserving the traditions of their ancestors they embellish cotton clothes with representations of Mother Nature and their daily life. Take home some of this award winning works of art.

Mayan Meal
Make friends with a local family while they prepare a delicious Mayan meal with natural products from the village.

Take a boat trip to the “Birds Island”
